La sicurezza dei nostri figli pare dal seggiolino.
La percentuale di incidenti stradali con danni ai bambini in Italia rimane tra le più alte d’Europa e la responsabilità sono spesso dei genitori, che in quasi sei casi su dieci ancora non prendono le dovute misure a bordo per tutelare i piccoli. Lo rileva un’indagine sugli atteggiamenti dei genitori all’uscita di scuola dei propri figli, realizzata per il 4° anno da Quintegia in occasione di BimbiSicuramente, la compagnia di informazione e sensibilizzazione sulla sicurezza dei bambini in auto.


In sette città esplorate con la collaborazione di Sicurauto.it, solo il 43% degli automobilisti utilizza i seggiolini, un dato che migliora di 6 punti rispetto allo scorso anno ma rimane allarmante specie tra i papà, mentre sale ma non troppo tra le mamme.
E dire che grazie al corretto utilizzo dei seggiolini si riducono del 70% le probabilità di decesso e dell’80% il rischio di lesioni gravi in caso di incidente. Guardando i risultati, sembra che a bordo della propria vettura i genitori siano assaliti da una particolare sindrome da incoscienza, specie a Napoli, Bologna e Palermo. Innanzitutto la sicurezza personale vale più di quella dei bambini, se è vero che il 67% di chi guida indossa la cintura ma solo il 43% si preoccupa di utilizzare il seggiolino per i piccoli. Il risultato è che la percentuale italiana di incidenti con danni a minori è tra le più alte d’Europa. Le sorprese arrivano dall’analisi delle città oggetto dell’indagine. Maglia nera si conferma Napoli con quasi il 20% dei conducenti che non utilizza il seggiolino e con addirittura l’osservanza delle regole di appena un papà su dieci. La città più virtuosa è di gran lunga Mestre, con oltre sei automobilisti su dieci in regola e quasi otto punti meglio rispetto allo scorso anno. Tra le auto più guidate dai conducenti, spiccano la Insight  e la Honda Accord Berlina.
